An Estate Planning Attorney in Maryland since 2005, Mr. Borne chairs the Estates & Trust practice and the Transactional Law practice of the firm. He advises individual clients on wealth transfer at minimum tax cost, in addition to the traditional estate planning areas of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and Healthcare Advanced Directives. He also advises clients on the administration of decedent’s estate and settlement of trusts, as well as charitable planning. Business entities, contracts, employment law, and discrimination law comprise the balance of Mr. Borne’s practice.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Borne has a track record of community service. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Maryland School for the Blind of Parkville, Maryland, and a past board member of the Parkville Kiwanis Club and the Perry Hall Improvement Association. Mr. Borne was a teacher with Baltimore County Public Schools for seven years before practicing law.
Mr. Borne is the father of two wonderful children and resides in Northeastern Baltimore County with his family.
